- Cortagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide from the Khavinson bioregulator group, associated with the cerebral cortex. Animal microarray work reports broad changes in gene expression across nervous and other tissues, and it has been used as a neurological bioregulator in Russia in uncontrolled settings.
